ERS specialises in undertaking economic and social research and providing related consultancy services to a range of organisations, including government departments, non-departmental public bodies, local authorities and a host of other public, private, and voluntary/community sector organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead on and contribute to the preparation of high quality, commercially sound proposals for new contracts and attending pitches to present our offer.
2. Lead on/contribute to the design of research tools such as surveys.
3. Undertake fieldwork, this could include conducting interviews, co-facilitating focus groups or carrying out observations.
4. Write reports with robust and insightful conclusions.
5. Engage with a wide range of audiences, including clients and research consultees.
6. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and clients.
Person Specification:
7. A degree-level qualification, likely to be in economics.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Good interpersonal skills, therefore able to build rapport with a wide range of people.
10. A positive attitude to team working.
11. Willingness to progress, demonstrating enthusiasm and drive for personal development.
12. A creative and curious mindset. Ability to problem solve and overcome challenges.
Salary and Benefits:
13. Salary: £22,000 - £32,000 per annum FTE (plus bonus)
