What you’ll achieve: Manager, Data Engineering & Machine Learning will lead and inspire our team in building cutting-edge data solutions. As a leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven innovation and ensuring the successful execution of our data initiatives. This role is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of talented data engineers and machine learning specialists. Overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and architectures. Developing and deploying machine learning models to solve complex business problems. Managing multiple data projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Fostering a collaborative work environment and promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making. Essential Duties Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of data engineers and machine learning specialists. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Set clear goals and expectations, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives. Data Engineering: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient data pipelines and architectures. Implement robust data governance and quality control measures to ensure data integrity. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements. Machine Learning: Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models to solve complex business problems. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Collaborate with data scientists to explore new opportunities for leveraging machine learning to drive innovation. Project Management: Manage multiple data projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Prioritize projects based on business value and technical feasibility. Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Desired Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. 8 years of experience in data engineering and machine learning roles, with at least 3 years in a management position. Proven track record of building and leading high-performing data teams. Strong technical skills in data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop, cloud platforms). Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques (e.g., supervised learning, unsupervised learning, deep learning). Experience with data governance and quality control best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
