Do you have a track record of delivering construction projects within the healthcare sector? If so, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Birmingham where you will have a focus on delivering capital projects for NHS trusts.
You will be required to lead Project Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery under the supervision of a Director or Regional Lead.
You will need to provide oversight, strategic guidance, audit & review to a portfolio of projects at any one time. At times you may also need to provide effective support to other Project Managers on larger projects.
Here's what you'll do:
* Manage a portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
* Be responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.
* Consistently deliver profit margins planned.
* Consistently complete projects without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
* Typically manage projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors).
* Manage more complex clients and projects.
* Have decision-making authority and direct other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such.
* Direct staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims.
* Supervise and direct Project Managers with multiple projects or programs of projects.

Qualifications
Ready to push the limits of what's possible?
Here's what we're looking for:
* Professional Qualification - ideally Project Management/Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Degree.
* Recent experience working within an NHS Trust environment delivering capital projects as either Trust Estates Manager, Trust Project Manager or NEC Project Manager.
* Understanding of Procure 23 framework and its implementation.
* Understanding of NHS Trust organisation and interdependencies in relation to the development of NHS Trust capital projects.
* Chartered Status with the MAPM, RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution.
* Relevant degree or professional qualification.
* Work experience within a similar consultancy or other client-facing business.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Excellent understanding of construction contracts ideally JCT and NEC and the built environment.
* Excellent understanding of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
