We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Principal Public Protection Officer to join our Licensing team.
Working alongside other Principal Public Protection Officers and service managers you will take a lead role in the operational management of the Licensing team focusing on the licensing of premises for the sale of alcohol, late night refreshment and regulated entertainment, the licensing of private hire, taxis, and operators, gambling premises and a number of other types of local authority licenses and registrations. You will also be responsible for wider alcohol, gambling and taxi policies and approaches across the town.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have knowledge and experience in this area of work and who have worked with the public, licensed and taxi trade.
