We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician / Electrically Biased Facilities Engineer to join our team here at Resideo in Motherwell. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our site's facilities, including planned preventive maintenance (PPM), electrical installations, fault finding, and general facilities tasks.
Working closely with our on-site engineering team and Facilities Manager, the chosen candidate will proactively tackle the everyday facility maintenance requirements, ensuring all work orders are completed promptly and to the highest standards.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Ensure compliance with legislative and company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements at site(s)
2. Provide technical first line support / first line fix to any facilities issues raised
3. Support/Monitor 3rd party maintenance supplier activities when required and report any corrective works arising
4. Work with local/central/third party project manager(s) to ensure fully integrated FM/projects delivery
5. Report all accidents, occupational illnesses, and emergencies in relevant books/documentation
6. Ensure all contractors, under sphere of control, operate within appropriate HSE processes and HSE standards
7. Responsible for the image and visual standards of the site/s taking ownership of any issues or concerns
8. Ensure that the Computerised Maintenance Management System is used to capture all Planned Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance and General Work Requests for the site
9. Maintain and manage asset registers
10. Delivery of “One Team” methodology within location
11. Perform reactive and proactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical disciplines
12. Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks according to schedule
13. Other aspects of facilities management will also be included as part of the role
YOU MUST HAVE:
14. BS7671 18th Edition
15. Electrical inspection and testing experience
16. Prior experience working as an electrically bias facilities engineer, an electrician and / or an electrically bias maintenance engineer
