We are looking to appoint a full time classroom teacher for September 2025 who will greet challenges with a can do attitude. This will be a fixed term contract until 31st August 2026.
Our vision that we are ‘Always Learning’ runs through everything that we do. This applies to all pupils, staff, governors and parents! Our carefully designed curriculum ensures that there are opportunities both inside and outside the classroom for pupils to learn.
You will need to be able to take responsibility for committing to a high quality of education for the pupils you are supporting. You will need to be a team player and communicate clearly as you collaborate with other teaching staff: teachers and teaching assistants. You will need to be reflective about the progress that is being made and ready to celebrate when things go well!
Supporting all stakeholders is central to our philosophy and we have a strong cycle of CPD in school to support all positions within the school.
In return, the school can offer you:
1. Friendly and enthusiastic children.
2. High expectations of children’s achievements and behaviour.
3. A competitive salary with the possibility of TLRs for core subject leadership.
4. A school that is fully committed to supporting each child to reach their full potential.
5. Collaborative working with PPA with others in the same phase and shared planning to reduce workload.
6. A dedicated, friendly team of professionals who are keen to be always learning from each other including in professional learning communities.
7. Excellent CPD opportunities both internally and externally.
8. An experienced ECT mentor and support through the ECT years (if appropriate).
9. A staff well-being governor to ensure all staff are supported.
10. Rewards for running morning groups.
11. A commitment to restorative practice.
The post will be a full-time fixed term position commencing on 1st September 2025. The position is on a teacher’s main scale salary.
