Our client based in Buckinghamshire is a global engineering company that is a world leader in its field. They now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager for the UK, Ireland, and Denmark, reporting directly to the Sales Director for the EMEA region.
You will play a critical role in driving the company's success across the UK, Ireland, and Denmark region through the development of robust sales strategies and the sound leadership of 4 Field Sales Engineers and office-based sales personnel to exceed sales targets.
For this role, we are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager who can demonstrate both a hands-on approach as well as a demonstrable record of successful sales leadership within a technical sales environment. In addition, you will need the following:
1. Extensive experience in a technical sales role of capital equipment, e.g., Automation, Testing equipment, Special purpose machinery.
2. High value, low volume sales (up to £100k per unit).
3. Proven track record in delivering value-driven solutions to customers.
4. Excellent leadership, managerial, and motivational skills.
5. Experience of managing people remotely.
