Situated in a Grade II-listed manor built in 1705, Babington House is surrounded by 18 acres of English countryside in the heart of Somerset. Just 30 minutes from Bath, it's the ultimate countryside escape for rest, relaxation and seasonal dining. With 33 bedrooms spread across Babington's historic buildings, Cabins and Lodges, the club features a formal dining space in the Orangery, serving a unique menu centred around seasonal and local produce. We are seeking an experienced Waiter/ Waitress to join our team at Babington House. Your main responsibility is to ensure that members have an enjoyable experience. You will deliver excellent service from initial greeting, taking orders, making recommendations and paying of the bill.
We are looking for a team player who communicates well with all colleagues, punctual, reliable and trustworthy. A sense of urgency and yes, yes, yes mentality is required. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, genuine passion for food and beverage, flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required.
Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes. Average hours 32-45 hours per week. Approx. 30 minutes from Bath, 50 minutes from Bristol & 10 mins from Frome (No local transport from Frome)
