As a Product Developer at Spoke, you will be self-motivated, proactive and have excellent time management skills plus the ability to adapt and work to tight deadlines and deliver results within specified time frames. You must possess the ability to react quickly to changing demands and priorities. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, manufacturers, and suppliers across the entire development process, ensuring our products align with brand standards and customer expectations. Working closely with the Production and Technical teams, to manage the development lifecycle of products from initial design sketch through to gold seal sign off, you will: Work with the Technical Team to create, manage and maintain detailed tech packs, ensuring clarity for suppliers and factories. Communicate with overseas suppliers in the Far East and Europe. Ensure prototypes at each stage are received on time and to brief set and budget. Manage the BOM creation process ensuring these are kept upto date and issued in line with the critical path. Maintain the Product Development Master Database with the most upto date and relevant information : fabrics, materials and trims. Ensure PD related information on the Production Order Management System (POMS) is kept updated. Proactively call out and seek out solutions to any potential issues that may affect the brief and CP during the whole development process. Build and maintain strong relationships with all suppliers and factories. A good working knowledge of Google Docs, MS Office, Notion & Illustrator with a willingness to learn new systems as required. CAD up design sketches if and when required for spec packs. Additionally you will assist in the production of a clear set of seasonal product briefs for both NPD and EPD’s in co-ordination with Merchandising and Brand teams: Undertake comprehensive seasonal competitor research in line with brief and direction given. Assist with the creation of the Seasonal Product presentations. Maintain the Product Development Concept Tracker to capture all online and offline developments. Visit trade shows as and when required. Source and negotiate on all necessary fabrics, trims and materials to meet the brief, COO and budgetary requirements. Requirements Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar role within menswear. Knowledge of Menswear product, construction and fit is beneficial. Experience across multi products including woven and jersey.
