Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring that all financial accounts and tax filings are completed accurately and on time. Supervise and provide guidance to junior staff, ensuring they receive appropriate training and support in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns. Review financial statements and related reports for clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Provide technical accounting and tax advice to clients, helping them navigate complex financial matters and improve business performance. Maintain strong relationships with clients, proactively identifying opportunities for further service provision. Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities, as needed. Monitor deadlines and ensure all work is completed efficiently and in compliance with internal controls and regulations. Keep up to date with changes in accounting and tax legislation and provide training to clients and staff as necessary. Support the wider team with ongoing process improvements and implement best practices to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.Essential Skills and Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified (or recently qualified), with solid experience within a practice environment. Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting. Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
