The Organisational Development Practitioner (OD) will implement critical OD initiatives and projects.
These initiatives will support UHDB's 'Exceptional Care Together' Strategy 2024-2030. The role will focus on the 'people experience' 5-year goal with emphasis on the underlying enabler of 'compassionate and inclusive culture (C&I) with continuous improvement.
They will provide OD and C&I services to stakeholders and support the continuous quality improvement agenda in areas such as behaviours and values, C&I Culture, culture change, ED&I initiatives, employee engagement, leadership development, change management, talent/succession planning and team development.
Main duties of the job
* Deliver key OD and C&I initiatives to support the operational aims and objectives of the Trust.
* Deliver and facilitate leadership programmes shaping people plans and activities to deliver positive organisational change through a range of OD activities.
* Design and deliver leadership development training through a blended approach.
* Coach and mentor a range of leaders to support them improve their practice.
* Develop teams to manage conflict, build trust, collaborate and co-create results to enable exceptional care delivery.

Person Specification
Education & Qualifications
* Qualification in OD or Leadership or equivalent experience in related field relevant to role. Evidence of CPD in the OD field Coaching and mentoring formal training and development.
Knowledge & Experience
* A understanding and current knowledge of E,D&I, leadership, talent and succession planning.
Skills & Ability
* Excellent leadership and influencing skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with expertise in engaging leaders and diverse stakeholders.
Values and behaviours
