Our client is a very well-established and prestigious company with an outstanding reputation in their field. They are currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join their busy team at their manufacturing facility in Congleton. Main duties Read, interpret and understand engineering drawings and associated paperwork in order to determine how products are to be correctly manufactured. Use hand tools, production machinery and tooling to cut, machine, form, shape and size components to their required dimensions specified on engineering drawings. Use available software and program CNC equipment for the purpose of machining/drilling product Ensure that any measuring or production equipment used is within its re-calibration date prior to use Select tools, check condition and set up in accordance with job card and/or work instructions Accurately record the time expended on production work to the correct works order number Ensure that all production related work activities and records comply with relevant quality standards Requirements Experienced in working within an engineering environment. CNC Machining & Programming of multi-axis CNC equipment Experience of working with manufacturing jigs and assembly aids. Experienced in using production tooling and machinery. NVQ Level3 Engineering apprenticeship The company offer an attractive 4 day week pattern, working Monday to Thursday 6.30am to 4pm.
