Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of SHARE Multi Academy Trust.

To do this, the trust operates an excellent and well-established Central Services Team, within which this post is based. Our Central Services Team comprises a range of expert departments including HR, Payroll, Premises and Compliance, and ICT.
Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking to appoint a dedicated Finance Assistant who has an eye for detail and the ability to work to deadlines.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join the central finance team who are responsible for delivering an effective financial and accounting service to eight academies, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and timely.
The ideal candidate will:
1. Be educated to Maths and English GCSE 4/5 equivalent or above;
2. Have experience of using computerised accounting packages alongside word and spreadsheet packages;
3. Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
4. Be customer focused with the ability to prioritise.
