Customer Assistant (Specialist) - Store Support Team (18+)

The Role:
As a member of our Lakes Store Support Team, Carnforth will be your base store. However, you will be required to work from one of our North regions stores as needed. Transport is provided for this role. Shift patterns may vary; however, your role will require you to work one weekend shift per week. Travel time is included, with transport to one of our lakes stores provided. All breaks are to be taken in the support store before returning to your base store, Carnforth, in time for the end of your shift.
Our customers will be your main focus, and everything you do will be with their shopping experience in mind. As a Specialist Customer Assistant, there are two main areas of the store you could expect to be working:
1. Counters: As part of our Counters team, you will be working with a variety of meat, fish and dairy products. You will have a high degree of customer interaction and should therefore have a friendly, polite and approachable manner.
2. Café: As a member of our Café team, you could be supporting in the kitchen making items from the menu or working as part of the Front of House team making beverages, serving customers, or keeping on top of cleanliness within the dining area.
You don't need retail experience to join our family. With our bespoke training, you will become an expert in delighting our customers with our warm northern welcome and creating a magical shopping experience for our customers.

Working pattern:
This is a part-time role with a contract of 22.5 hours. We would discuss your preferred availability with you as part of the interview process.
Salary:
21 +: £12.30
18-20 years: £10.30
Under 18: £9.80
