We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Dental Nurse(s) to join our Public Dental Service (PDS) bank to provide patient-centred dental support in NHS Dumfries & Galloway. This unique opportunity will see you providing direct and indirect support to both patients and the clinical team.
The position is within PDS providing clinic support from Dumfries Dental Centre / Galloway Community hospital and other sites within the Dumfries & Galloway region. The post holder could be offered shifts between the hours of 0830-2100 Monday-Friday and 1130-1730 Saturday and Sunday.
Relevant clinical experience as a Dental Nurse and NEBDN qualification or SVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing are essential along with registration with GDC as a Dental Nurse. A sound knowledge of Health & Safety requirements within a clinical environment are essential as well as the ability to find solutions to problems, deal with the pressure of a diverse clinic whilst retaining excellent and efficient communications skills.
