This firm of Chartered Accountants based in York has a fresh outlook, driven by providing a first-class service to their clients.
The role of Client Services Manager is varied and will include reviewing and preparing annual accounts, and supervising and mentoring the team members to meet the client’s needs. The role will also involve practice and workflow management for the wider team.
The split of work will be around 80% working on key client portfolios and 20% managing workflow of the whole team, managing billing and work in progress, and developing the team.
We are looking for:
1. ACCA or ACA fully qualified
2. Solid accounting experience obtained within an accountancy practice
3. Knowledge of accounts preparation for incorporated and unincorporated clients
4. Experience working with IRIS, Xero and Sage (preferential, but not essential)
5. Strong management, communication and organisational skills
6. Able to confidently work alone but also be a team player
7. Excellent time management
Main duties in the role:
1. Managing a portfolio of clients comprising incorporated businesses (experience of unincorporated businesses and individuals would be advantageous)
2. Responsibility for all compliance matters for clients – annual accounts and corporation tax returns
3. Personal tax planning for individuals
4. Responsibility for maintaining WIP and managing team KPI’s
5. Reviewing work performed by other team members and assisting with staff training
6. Being the main relationship contact for clients
