Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to join our Neurosciences & Orthopaedics team with a competitive salary range on offer, up to £30,960 depending upon experience. This is a full time, permanent position would require the post holder to work up to 37.5 hours per week. This is a Monday-Sunday, Days/Nights/Weekends role with the following shift patterns: Monday to Sunday Long Days– 0730-2000 Monday to Sunday Nights – 1930-0800 Bank Holidays – 0730-2000 & 1930-0800 The Inpatient Healthcare Assistant will primarily be involved in assisting nursing Caregivers and providing direct patient care, as well as ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and always working in a manner that promotes privacy and dignity. What will your duties include: Responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the directions and supervision of trained nursing caregiver Developing competence in carrying out basic observations and recording results Assist with the transfer of patients within Departments or floor using the correct moving and handling techniques Able to act as a role model, ensuring the reputation of the nursing profession is upheld Participating effectively at the Quality improvements initiatives for the ward ensures that the Ward KPI’s are achieved and are aligned with CCL quality standard What we need from you: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a Care Certificate Demonstrable clinical experience in or similar setting Track record of achievement of objectives in present and past jobs in the clinical field. Good communication and organisational skills Able to bring experience from an Orthopaedics and/or Neurosurgery ward is preferable, but hospital experience is a necessity What can we offer you?
