Key Responsibilities: - Audit Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements. - Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate key risks within business processes and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. - Process Evaluation: Analyze and assess business processes to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations. - Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations for management and stakeholders. - Follow-Up: Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and assess their effectiveness over time. - Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of continuous improvement and compliance. Qualifications and Skills: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Professional Certification: Part-qualified or fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent. - Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within the financial services sector. - Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex information clearly. - Integrity: High ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. - Adaptability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
