Job summary High Street Surgery is looking for an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our friendly team working our main site in Cheslyn Hay and small branch site in Great Wyrley. You will join our existing nursing team consisting of ACP, Practice nurse, HCA & phlebotomist Our ideal candidate will have experience of practice nursing, including chronic disease management, asthma, COPD, diabetes, wound care and vaccinations. We are happy to support training and development needs. Main duties of the job The purpose of the role is to work as part of the primary healthcare team providing high quality General Medical Services to patients of the practice. To be successful, the candidate must be a Registered General Nurse with experience of working in general practice and with chronic disease management, immunisations and cytology. Experience of working with EMIS clinical system desirable. Following agreed clinical protocols with referral to GPs as appropriate for the above.
