Sales Account Administrator - Training Provided
Are you finding that your Sales Accounts, Credit Control, or Admin career is taking you nowhere fast in your current role?
That is definitely NOT the case with us! Hopefully, that is the first, but just one of the reasons to read on. All of our roles, and very much including this one, contribute to the way we foster a dynamic and innovative culture that values collaboration, growth, and excellence. We believe in our employees and their ability to contribute to our collective achievements, whatever specific position they hold. We prioritize their well-being by supplying a supportive and inclusive work environment, where continuous learning and development are key components of our approach.
Who are we? We have been proudly serving the catering trade within Kent, Surrey, and East Sussex from our base in Sittingbourne, Kent since 2003. As an independent foodservice wholesaler, we have built a reputation as a trusted and reliable partner for our customers, supplying a diverse and growing range of high-quality products and ingredients from local to national suppliers. With our plans for rapid business expansion over the next five years, this is an exciting time to join our team.
The role:
* Responsible for opening new customer accounts, credit checking, and authorizing credit limits.
* Liaising with credit controllers to minimize any bad debt risk to the company.
* High level of liaison with customers and Sales Managers to ensure accounts are opened correctly in line with internal processes.
* Varied role involving support to credit controllers to ensure their duties are completed (such as taking calls, processing cash, and assisting with maintaining ledgers).
What are we looking for in you? Principally:
* Any existing Accounts, Admin, Credit Control, or Finance Department experience that is relevant would be a definite plus, but we will provide training providing you have the right attitude and aptitude.
* IT skills and the ability to learn quickly, together with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good verbal and written communication, trustworthy, literate, and numerate.
* A team player who interacts well with colleagues and is prepared to support them, whatever the need.
This is an immediate start for the right person, so if we sound like the sort of team you'd like to be part of, then we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
