ABC Teachers is currently seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded SEND school in Lichfield, dedicated to supporting students with moderate to complex educational needs.
Role Overview:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide tailored support in both one-on-one and small group settings.
* Promote student engagement and participation during lessons.
* Create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment that encourages growth and independence for all students.
* Long-term positions available, beginning in October 2024.

About You:
We are looking for candidates who:
* Have relevant experience supporting students with autism and moderate learning difficulties (MLD).
* Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills.
* Are dedicated, compassionate, and eager to go the extra mile to support the students in your care.
* Can provide appropriate references and pass a DBS check.
All staff we register will undergo thorough interviews, referencing checks, and must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check registered with the Update Service.
