SALARY: £68,000 - £75,500
LOCATION:London
HOURS:Full-Time

About the opportunity
We’re part of the Segments & Propositions platform at Lloyds Banking Group, focused on delivering advanced experiences targeted at customer segments. Our work is predominantly app focused, across the three main brands of Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland.
The design discovery team works closely with proposition, product, analytics and engineering stakeholders to shape the innovative propositions and features — researching, prototyping, testing and iterating. We work alongside and support designers within our multiple feature delivery teams.
Right now, we’re looking to broaden our app offering and build deeper, more valuable relationships with our customers across all segments.
What you’ll be doing
1. You’ll design concepts based on customer needs for the app experience.
2. You’ll contribute to discovery workshops, conduct market research, create wireframes and prototypes, support user research, and more.
3. You’ll work closely with the rest of the design discovery squad, proactively communicating, contributing ideas, and challenging each other’s thinking.
4. You’ll live in Figma and Figjam. Whiteboard sessions, wireframing and prototyping are your bread and butter.
5. You’ll enjoy and contribute towards a bold, positive and inclusive team culture.
6. You’ll be equally comfortable running a stakeholder call to share a new concept, being heads-down working on a new concept, or listening in to a usability test with a customer.
Who are you
1. You’re passionate about product design. You want to make products that solve customer problems, meeting their specific needs, and achieve our business goals.
2. You’re highly skilled and competent at what you do. You pride yourself on your work and have a strong desire to solve hard problems.
3. You’ve designed for iOS / Android apps before and are always up to speed with best practices.
4. You always take ownership of your work and are good at managing your own time. You’re able to balance multiple tasks at once.
5. You care about your craft and ultimately want to make a difference. You’re an advocate for simplicity, usability and accessibility.
6. You’re proactive, always looking for the next innovation or efficiency.
