If so then we at The Dartford and Gravesham Clinical Coding Service would love to hear from you The Post Holder Will Work Closely With The Senior Management And Clinical Teams To Deliver a Robust Clinical Coding Validation Programme To Achieve And Maintain The Highest Possible Quality Of Coded Clinical Data. The Validation Programme Will Extend Across All Specialties Involving All Clinical Teams, Using The ICD-10 And OPCS-4 Classification Adhering To National And Local Clinical Coding Standards. You Will Be Educated to degree level or equivalent experience An Accredited Clinical Coder Qualification (ACC) Have an-depth knowledge and understanding of the complete clinical coding function from ICD-10, OPCS-4, HRGs and the impact on Trust funding, Payment by Results and health care statistical data Working expertise in ICD10, OPCS4, HRG4, PbR and financial flows Extensive validation experience with clinical staff Minimum of 3 years recent experience in clinical coding/leading role in an acute hospital environment.
