Job Summary
As a Practice Manager at our Dental Practice, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the practice. Your primary responsibilities will involve financial management, staff management with supervision, and human resources management to support the delivery of high-quality dental services.
Duties
1. Creating duty rotas for nurses, dentists and other staff of the practice
2. Organising building maintenance, security and cleaning services
3. Ensuring that the practice meets legal, health and safety and other regulatory guidelines
4. Manage the financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting and financial reporting
5. Oversee human resources functions such as recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
6. Coordinate with dentists and nurses to maintain high standards of patient care
7. Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and health and safety standards
9. CQC compliance and associated work
10. Managing patient complaints through to resolution and handling all practice queries with support from HR and principal dentists
11. Oversee the day to day running of the business
Experience
1. Minimum one year previous experience in a managerial role within a dental practice setting is highly desirable
2. Strong financial management skills with the ability to handle budgets and financial reports effectively
3. Excellent supervisory skills to lead and motivate a diverse team
4. Proficient in managing human resources functions such as recruitment and training
5. Ability to effectively manage and lead a team
6. Knowledge of Dental practices and procedures
