We're recruiting experienced dedicated and compassionate Care Workers to join our nurse-led team at Cera to provide care to our clients in and around the Newton Mearns (G77) area.
You'll be providing care and support to a gentleman who has suffered a severe incomplete cervical cord injury at level C1/2 resulting in total paralysis of all four limbs and the diaphragm, who's specific needs include:
- Fully ventilated 24 hours a day and uses both a dry and wet system of ventilation delivered via tracheostomy
- Receives all nutrition and fluids via Mic-Key Button tube
- Elimination managed by suprapubic catheterisation and bowel regime
Shifts include
- 12 hour shifts covering days from 6.45am to 7pm
- 12 hour shifts covering nights from 6.45pm to 7am
- Alternate weekend required
