The candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a well-organised professional with experience in account management, preferably within a sales focused environment. Experience in electronics would be preferable but is not essential.
You will be comfortable dealing with both customers and suppliers, using all methods of communication to do so, such as: e-mails, telephone, face to face, and teams’ meetings. The typical design cycle for the company’s specialist products can be up to 24 months so patience, perseverance and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships is crucial.

The role is office based, at our new building which we moved into in 2024. You will work with a friendly team, where collaborative working and supporting each other is encouraged.
Responsibilities overview:
1. Work with existing and new customers on new project designs
2. Develop new business through enquiries
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
4. Processing of orders and quotations
5. Regular communication with customers via telephone and email
6. Liaise with international suppliers
7. Regular and accurate forecasting & management of sales opportunities / budget
Requirements:
1. Experience in a similar position
2. Good communication and negotiation skills
3. Self-motivated & proactive
4. £28k to £33k based on knowledge and experience
5. Performance-based bonus schemes
6. 4.5 day working week (12:30pm Friday finish)
7. Private medical insurance (provided upon 12 months continuous service)
8. 4x salary Death in Service insurance
9. Additional birthday day off
