Anderson Knight are delighted to be representing our client on the key appointment of a Financial Accounting Manager.
Our client boasts market leading flexibility and benefits. This role will report directly to the Head of Finance and have responsibility for a team of up to 10.
The main duties and responsibilities will include:
* Assist with Month and Quarter-end reporting for two cost centres.
* Support the forecasting cycles to ensure accurate financial projections and analysis.
* Take a key role in supporting the external annual audit, ensuring all requirements are met and documentation is accurate.
* Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Support the corporation tax calculation process, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls on an ongoing basis and drive improvements where necessary.
* Play a key role in the update and rollout of group accounting systems and process enhancements.
* Collaborate with the extended management team, providing insight and technical support where required.
* Provide monthly updates to senior leadership on business performance, highlighting key trends and opportunities.
* Work closely with all supply chain departments to safeguard and accurately report on the company’s most valuable assets.
* Lead or act as a key point of contact on projects focused on improving finance operations or introducing new efficiencies within the business.
* Provide ad-hoc support to the Head of Finance as required, assisting with a variety of finance-related tasks and initiatives.
The main candidate will be a fully qualified (ACCA/CA/CIMA) who can demonstrate proven experience leading a team, ideally experienced working with a larger business.
