* JOB TITLE: Analyst - Balance Sheet Analytics
* SALARY: £32,395
* LOCATION(S): Harbourside, Bristol.
* HOURS: Full-time
* WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
About this Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the Balance Sheet Analytics and Innovation team within Portfolio Analytics. The team has a key role in creating bespoke and executive analytics and business intelligence to support all levels of decision making be it at the level of a client’s individual product or all the way up to an aggregate view of Commercial Banking.
The team sits within Portfolio Analytics to ensure that best practice and alignment with the wider Commercial Banking analytics and data activity.
Core purpose of the role:
Your focus will be on helping deliver business and data processes that drive the insight and analytics into client return on capital across Commercial Banking. This data analyst role will support OneMI in delivering client level and product level datasets to support pricing frameworks for ODs, Trade and Cardnet. This will include:
* Engaging with key partners across a wide variety of teams not limited to Product and Coverage, Finance, Risk and Data Services
* Working to support the delivery of valuable insight
* Proactively look for and deliver opportunities to enhance the accuracy, quality and timeliness of key applications

* You need to be a motivated and enthusiastic with a passion for analytics and continuous improvement. A wide range of backgrounds are welcome.
Essential skills:
* Ability to manipulate and transform large data sets to support actionable insight
* Basic understanding of Commercial Banking organisational design
* Ability to engage with a wide and diverse group of partners
* To think laterally, be innovative and find creative solutions
* A basic understanding and a drive to develop a working knowledge of tools and languages such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, Teradata.
* Strong teamwork; Enthusiasm to develop
