We are looking for a Part Time Café Chef to join our lovely bakery team. It's a great job if you're looking for more of a work / life balance, as we need you for 24 hours a week, spread over 3 days. Shifts are 7:30am to 3:30pm, and whilst we need weekend availability, it is only alternate weekends.
Hours will vary, this can change due to nature of the business; there is the potential for more shifts/hours for the right candidate.
We are a bakery at heart, selling Sourdough breads, pastries and other sweet treats. We also serve breakfast, brunch and lunch. We make everything from scratch in our kitchens, using the very best seasonal and local produce. Our menus change regularly with the seasons and produce availability, so there's always menu development to get involved in.
What we need from you:
* You will have good communication skills, be enthusiastic, well-organised and punctual.
* We love a can-do and problem solving attitude; you will be passionate about the highest possible standards and have a great eye for detail.
* We're a small team, and work closely together - you need to be able to work well as part of a busy team.
* Someone with a passion and enthusiasm for creating delicious and good looking food.
* Baking experience would be preferred, as our kitchen are increasingly making more cakes and sweet treats.
* A candidate who wants to learn and develop their skills is required.
We're looking for someone to start asap, but can be flexible if you're perfect for the role. Wage can be discussed on application. You'll also get an equal share of any tips.
