Ensuring all health and safety best practices, policies and procedures are followed to mitigate risk across the business. Ensuring the business operates within and adheres to all relevant legislation and all applicable compliance procedures. Providing accurate guidance to the company on all Health and Safety related matters. Key Accountabilities: Ensure s that Health and Safety, Environment strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives, and operational needs to enable the company to function effectively Establishi ng long term Health and Safety initiatives, driving a culture of continuous improvement Advising management on necessary adjustments to policies and procedures Supporting ISO 45001 audit program Promote awareness and understanding of HSE practices through the health and safety committee, ongoing education and communications Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs, recommending improvements when necessary Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning through to execution. Essential Skills NEBOSH certificate Resilient personality with the ability to drive Health & Safety through cross functional teams Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 & adherence to additional standards, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Excellent communication with proven ability to produce high quality written reports and presentations Waste regulation, plastic packaging regulation knowledge.
