EX2324 ABOUT THE TECHNOLOGY TRANSFORMATION GROUP The Technology Transformation Group focus on transformation, delivery and change across BBC Studios. We work across three strands; delivering solutions to support new business needs crucial for business continuity, transformation activities focusing on specific growth initiatives for the business, and finally identifying opportunities for change, aligning these with the technology strategy. We also work closely with all product groups to produce a coordinated pipeline for Technology. THE ROLE The Delivery Manager will work within multi-disciplinary agile teams to help make a team more effective and is accountable for driving the delivery of technology transformation projects towards outcomes. Key Responsibilities Accountable for driving the delivery process of products and services towards outcomes within a team Accountable for applying the most appropriate agile delivery methodology as needed to deliver a successful outcome Responsible for maintaining delivery momentum and managing blockers, risks and impediments to progress Responsible for ensuring deliverables are defined against clearly articulated outcomes Leads continuous planning practices and ensures work is visible and there is an iterative plan to work towards that is actively communicated and understood by teams & stakeholders Responsible for making sure your team understands their mission, vision and goals and that these align across the organisation Responsible for identifying and bringing the right people together at the right time. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA; Experience managing projects/workstreams to successful outcomes. Experience in leading teams, problem solving, progress monitoring, managing risk budget and resource. Working knowledge of the project lifecycle including selection of appropriate methodologies and techniques for delivery. Good understanding of the drivers of success and sources of risk for the project domain. Manage stakeholder in ambiguous, fast-changing and complex environments. Knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures for the domain. For example: procurement, contract management, environment, and health and safety. Microsoft Office software skills and experience using data to make it meaningful for different audiences. DESIRABLE CRITERIA; Excels at delivery in a fast-changing, diverse and complicated environment. Understands organisational transformation challenges and how to operate in this context. Has managed at least three projects with a budget of c£50k and staffing of three or more people. Knowledge of the media sector. Understanding of traditional and new technologies used in broadcast or digital media environments. Experience of project management and collaboration tools (e.g. MS project, JIRA, Register, Monday.com). Demonstrable professional development with a recognised project management qualification or equal experience (e.g. PRINCE2, APMP, Agile certification).
