Responsibilities:
* Support the preparation of Management Accounts for all entities (working day 5) - including Profit & Loss, Cashflow, and balance sheet reporting.
* Play a key role in influencing commercial decision-making and strategy for the Build-to-Rent and Residential business.
* Prepare the monthly results and KPIs for Board pack reporting.
* Be responsible for all intercompany recharges ensuring that all costs are recorded and accounted for in the correct entity (Resi/BTR/UBCL).
* Prepare monthly journals, accruals, prepayments, deferred income, accrued income, and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Coordinate financial reporting for Build-to-Rent and Residential with the aim of monitoring and improving the financial performance of these services against their business plans.
* Support the senior management team across Build-to-Rent and Residential business areas to drive commercial performance.
* Assist the Financial Controller in managing the budget setting, forecasting, and reporting requirements for urbanbubble main co and subsidiaries.
* Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
* Assist with Year-End Audit supporting the external Auditors.
* Develop management information and KPIs.
* Ensure that financial controls are in place, maintained, and developed.
* Contribute to improving current processes and systems.
* Support the Financial Controller and ELT/SMT with any ad hoc reporting.
