Job Specification: The UK Divisional Marketing Manager will be part of the UK Distribution and Partners Division, focusing on marketing efforts for eight UK business units with a combined turnover of £22m+. This role involves setting and delivering marketing initiatives to support sales and profit targets. Key functions of the role include ensuring the planning, implementation, evaluation of annual marketing plans and budgets. The successful candidate will also manage and oversee a Digital Marketing Executive, who will assist with digital marketing tasks required within the Division. The principal success metric for marketing will be based on the generation of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and e-commerce transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement marketing plans to support sales growth.
* Manage external agencies (Digital, PR, Advertising, Design, and Print) to ensure optimal service and value.
* Collaborate with the Business Development Director, Group Marketing Director, Brand Manager, and other regional Marketing Managers to maintain global brand consistency.
* Manage and oversee the Digital Marketing Executive, ensuring they effectively assist with digital marketing tasks.
Job Duties:
* Create and deliver marketing plans for UK trading businesses, detailing initiatives and costs.
* Travel between the various Business Units throughout the UK, spending time with the GM and their respective teams. This will mean overnight stays from time to time.
* Become instrumental in the development and updates of our various websites. We want these to become effective lead generators, and therefore we shall track data to measure their performances.
* Work closely with the DGM in the creation of annual Plans to ensure we achieve the optimal spend for each Business Unit.
* Monitor marketing effectiveness and expenditure against budgets.
* Maintain the corporate image of UK business units in line with group policies.
* Support the sales team with market data and analysis.
* Assist the sales team with their customer visits by providing marketing materials.
* Oversee the creation of marketing literature and sales tools.
* Manage and update UK websites to improve SEO and ROI, working with external agencies.
* Update social media accounts and create marketing videos.
* Produce quarterly newsletters/updates for customers.
* Conduct market research and support business development initiatives.
* Identify new product opportunities and support the Group's new product development process.
* Prepare marketing materials and plans to support sales initiatives.
* Ensure adherence to Group brand guidelines across UK business units.
* Produce monthly progress reports for review with the UK Divisional General Manager, with particular attention on the creation of MQLs.
* Oversee and manage the Digital Marketing Executive, ensuring they assist effectively with digital marketing tasks.
Education and Experience:
* Experience in a technical or construction-related discipline is advantageous but not essential.
* Sufficient marketing experience and sales knowledge.
* Experience in working closely with sales teams to provide customer solutions.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Office, and CRM tools.

* Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Adaptable in a growing environment.
* Full clean UK driving license, and a willingness to travel throughout the UK with overnight stays as required.
