Job Opportunity: Finance Consolidation Specialist Location : Glasgow Hours : Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM) Schedule : 3 days onsite and 2 days work from home Travel : Based in Glasgow with occasional travel to London Are you a skilled finance professional with expertise in financial consolidation and reporting? Key Responsibilities Financial Consolidation : Combine and analyze financial results from multiple entities to produce precise and timely group reports. Statutory Reporting : Prepare year-end statutory accounts and reporting packs in compliance with IFRS standards. Journals and Adjustments : Post consolidation journals, resolve intercompany mismatches, and apply IFRS-related adjustments. System Accuracy : Ensure data consistency across financial systems, reconciling discrepancies where necessary. Audit Support : Provide documentation and responses to external audit queries. Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for automation and enhance reporting workflows in collaboration with finance teams. Stakeholder Engagement : Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business goals effectively. What We’re Looking For Qualifications : Part-qualified or Fully Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent). Experience : Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial consolidations, and audit processes.
