Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal
Are you looking to join a busy yet close-knit first opinion practice where you can be a valued member of the team? We are currently seeking two motivated RVNs to join us, one for maternity cover and the other due to retirement. This will initially be on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a full time position however part time will also be considered.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with strong all-round nursing skills and a genuine passion for animal care. You should be eager to learn and continuously develop your expertise, while actively contributing to the practice’s growth. As an enthusiastic and proactive team member, you’ll seamlessly integrate with the team, supporting colleagues and fostering a collaborative atmosphere. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential, allowing you to manage tasks efficiently while building positive relationships with both the team and clients. The rota
The rota is evenly split between theatre, nurse clinics, ward duties, a late shift, and 1:5 Saturday mornings. We are open until 7 pm on weekdays and until 1 pm on Saturdays. There is the option to take the Saturday hours in lieu.
About the Team and Culture
We are based in Saltash, a charming small town with easy access to all amenities, the beach, the moors, and Plymouth City. Our team consists of 4 experienced vets, 5 RVNs, and a dedicated reception team, all supported by our enthusiastic SVNs. This would suit newly qualified or experienced RVNs.
