Role: 1 x full time permanent position (37 hours)
Location: South Derbyshire and Derbyshire Dales with some hybrid working.
The Localities and Place public health team works with local partners and communities in each of the eight boroughs and districts to identify and tackle barriers to improved health and wellbeing and to reduce inequalities, through a community focused and partnership public health approach.
You will be based with the South Derbyshire and Derbyshire Dales Locality teams. Key duties will include:
1. Support Health & Wellbeing Partnership meetings, including deputising as chair as needed.
2. Grant management including writing and managing service specifications and liaising with providers.
3. Facilitate and lead sub-groups as needed.
4. Operationalise the delivery of the locality work supporting direction/strategy.
5. Staff management and support to Service Development Officers.
6. Be responsible for managing local grant monitoring and evaluation, and providing information for reports.
7. Build and maintain relationships with partners and make community links across the locality area.
8. Be the expert of the Locality geographical areas with a depth and breadth of local knowledge.
9. Have a broad knowledge of the cross-county programmes and feed local information into the work.
10. Regular travel in and around South Derbyshire and Derbyshire Dales, with occasional county-wide travel.
