The post holder is primarily responsible for providing assessment and therapeutic intervention. Although the post holder will be primarily responsible for providing psychological input to students, they will function as an integral member of the service's multi-disciplinary team and will, on occasion, support care coordination, crisis management, and other tasks that will help us provide the best possible service to our clients.
In conjunction with other clinical psychologists and psychological therapists working within the service, the post holder will contribute as appropriate to the provision of individual and group evidence-based interventions. The post holder will also contribute to the supervision and development of other staff.
The post holder will work within the policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust. They will plan and organize their work schedule and tasks within the parameters of the Job Plan agreed with the Operational Manager.
