Job summary We are looking for an experienced and driven Deputy Head of Service to join HCRG Care Group. In this pivotal leadership role, you will support the strategic and operational delivery of high-quality services across our organization. Working closely with the Head of Service, you will contribute to service transformation, ensuring we meet our goals of excellence, efficiency, and community impact. Interviews for this role will be held on Wednesday 5th February 2025 Main duties of the job As Deputy Head of Service, you will: Operational Management : Support the Head of Service in the day-to-day management of service operations. Ensure safe, timely assessment, referral, and discharge processes across the service. Oversee and deliver key performance targets agreed upon with the Head of Service. Leadership & Development : Provide effective leadership, inspiring teams to achieve excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Line-manage clinical and management staff, ensuring they are fully engaged in service redesign and development initiatives. Act as a Quality Champion, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Service Improvement : Lead the implementation of service redesign and development techniques, ensuring sustainable improvements. Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including health, social care, and voluntary sector partners. Representation & Advocacy : Represent the organization at meetings, events, and stakeholder engagements.
