Job Title: Leisure Operations Manager
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 3 weekly shift pattern comprising Early Shifts (07:00 - 14:00), Day Shifts(09:00 - 17:00) and Late Shifts(14:00 - 22:00) inclusive of 1 in 3 weekends (where a weekend is worked, the 2 days will be given the following week)

We are seeking a Leisure Operations Manager to join the Mitie team at Hadley Learning Community to oversee operations within our leisure department comprising 25m Swimming Pool, Swim School, Hydrotherapy Pool, Fitness Suite, Football Pitches and hired spaces including various third party lettings. Our ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively address any issues that may arise. A valid National Pool Lifeguard (NPLQ) qualification is preferred alongside a Pool Plant Operators Qualification, but candidates willing to achieve both within 3 months will also be considered depending on experience and existing competencies. An RLSS Trainer Assessor Qualification is also desirable however we will also consider candidates willing to achieve this within a time period to be agreed at point of offer.
As the Leisure Operations Manager, your primary goal is to drive operational excellence within the Leisure department. You will take the lead in managing daily operations, team development, and site safety within your designated area and will play a key role in the ongoing development of the department. Your key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the daily operations of the facility including staffing, payroll and QHSE.
* Cultivating a customer-focused culture.
* Leading the team by example to promote effective collaboration.
* Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
