Apricus Resourcing are working with an independent provider who are looking for a Mental Health Support Worker for a Full-Time, permanent, nights role which paying up to £23,712 per year.
The role is based within a service that provides long-term support and treatment for men experiencing complex mental health issues, delivered within a highly controlled and structured environment. As part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of those we support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting individuals in their daily living.
2. Fostering independence through engaging in social, recreational, and occupational activities.
3. Working seamlessly with the multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.
4. Promoting positive practice in Safeguarding, Health & Safety, and Mental Capacity within the service.
Qualifications:
Candidates for this role should possess a blend of empathy, resilience, and professionalism. Previous experience in mental health support or a related field is essential, demonstrating a solid understanding of the complexities involved in mental health recovery. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you will be working closely with individuals, their families, and other healthcare professionals. The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations with sensitivity is paramount.
Candidates will also need to have knowledge or experience with mental health diagnoses, learning disabilities, or autism in order to be considered.
