An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Structured Derivatives Lawyer to join a global financial services organisation on a 12-month interim basis starting in February 2025. This pivotal role is based within the Derivatives Legal Team and involves managing legal risks across EMEA entities, supporting loan-linked hedging transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. You will work autonomously to review and advise on a wide range of derivatives documentation, including ISDA masters, schedules, credit support annexes, and intercreditor agreements. Additionally, you'll provide transaction advice for complex or bespoke derivatives deals and contribute to the development of policies to mitigate legal risks. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including front-office teams, compliance, and risk, as well as liaising across multiple jurisdictions and legal systems. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with at least 8 years of experience in the financial services sector, strong expertise in derivatives law and ISDA documentation, and exceptional communication and negotiation skills. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are adept at managing high transaction volumes, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact. For more details, please get in touch
