This role requires an enthusiastic and highly motivated Technical Sales Advisor who is passionate about building strong customer relationships and delivering the best customer experience possible. You will be a strong salesperson, motivated by exceeding goals and achieving sales targets, complemented with strong industry experience. You are responsible for developing, leading, and closing projects and general business in strategically important customers to ensure commercial success within our chosen marketplace.
You will be working with an established commercial team including Business Development, Marketing, Commercial, Customer Service, and Project Management teams alongside the wider business operations.
The role is varied, challenging, and exciting. It requires sales skills, dedication, organization, and the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders. The key responsibilities are:
* Build strong, hands-on relationships with clients by understanding their IT asset disposal needs and demonstrating the value of services like IT & Telecoms recycling, secure data destruction, cable recovery and granulation, and Enterprise and Network Remarketing.
* Visit customer sites to assess their requirements and propose customized solutions.
* Participate in n2s core services by attending "Life in the Day of Operations" sessions once per quarter to gain hands-on knowledge of processes like cable recovery, granulation, data destruction, and recycling.
* Use this understanding to better communicate with customers and align their needs with operational capabilities.
* Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets by promoting services such as cable recovery, which includes separating and granulating materials for reuse in manufacturing.
* Drive sales in core business across all sectors.
* Educate customers on n2s's zero-landfill policy and how using services like cable recovery and granulation can result in a rebate at the end of the project.
* Explain how granulated materials from cables are reused, contributing to a circular economy.
* Work with operations teams to ensure seamless collection and processing of cables, e-waste, and other IT assets.
* Arrange and participate in on-site data destruction or cable recovery demonstrations to build client trust and highlight the security and efficiency of n2s’s processes.
* Identify opportunities to bundle services such as cable recovery, data sanitization, IT refurbishment, and recycling to provide comprehensive solutions that meet client needs.
* Promote the benefits of turning redundant cable into reusable materials, which supports customer sustainability goals and how n2s will offer a turnkey process.
* Provide customers with detailed reports on recovered materials and their environmental impact, including metrics on cable granulation output and waste reduction.
* Represent n2s at industry events, showcasing the company’s cutting-edge capabilities in IT recycling, cable recovery, hard drive destruction, and sustainability.
* Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure that any learnings throughout and after jobs are implemented into the planning and quoting of new jobs.
* Work with internal teams to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and customer-specific standards.

* Strong Sales skills with the ability to identify, qualify, manage, and close simple and complex deals working with individuals as well as cross-functional customer and partner teams.
* Strong communicator and presenter, ability to interact with and present to large groups.
* Strong operational skills, ability to execute agreed programmes and business workflows.
* The skills to develop a Business Plan that combines the Customer’s key requirements and n2s’s priorities for mutual success in the marketplace.
* Track record in selling service-related solutions, knowledge and competence within IT, networking, and communication solutions.
* Strong relationship selling skills and be able to lead sales calls at every level of a customer account.
* Track record of new business selling skills and proven experience in winning and onboarding new logos.
* Must be a self-starter and strong closer with multi-tasking ability.
* Understand business organizations and their buying cycles, decision-making, and processes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

* Salary range £30-32K
