Brandsafe based in Milton Keynes (Buckinghamshire), is Europe’s leading innovator of impact protection and high visual safety solutions for the industrial workplace. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business at Brandsafe, including, but not limited to:
-Identify & target key markets
-Identify & target key customers
-Nurturing new contacts to become customer
-Attending conferences and events, presenting to clients where required
The Business Development Manager will work closely with:
-Key Account Managers
-The Head of Commercial Sales
-Group Senior Marketing Manager
-Potential customers
Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop customer accounts through sales and effective communication.
* Initial meetings with prospects, via Teams or telephone, to qualify their requirements.
* Qualifying inbound leads and converting them from marketing qualified to sales qualified.
* Targeting prospects who have been identified within customer segments, qualifying them to a sales ready state.
* Complete on-site customer visits to build on working relationships and gain information for the processing of quotations/projects.
* Work with Key Account Managers to provide customer solutions and make recommendations based on company product knowledge, systems of work and installation techniques.
* Quote and pricing support to wider team.
* Work alongside the marketing and sales & commercial team to identify opportunities within the marketing place, identifying gaps and target audiences.
* Attend events and exhibitions, following up on leads from specific campaigns, such as events and exhibitions or sponsored social leads.
* Attend and present at CPD seminars and other events when required.
* Account based approach to key prospects, using multiple channels – LinkedIn, email, phone, etc. to develop relationships and nurture the opportunity to become sales ready.
* Monitor and analyse data to produce regular updates and report on progress of SLA’s and KPI’s.
* Update the CRM to ensure data collection is as accurate as possible, whilst supporting the wider team with the system.
Success Management:
* Build and maintain effective customer working relationships.
* Weekly/monthly reporting on leads/sales growth and opportunity, to include conversion rate.
* Meet or exceed customer’s expectations on delivery of information/solutions.
* Maintenance of auditable documentation trails.
* Engagement with development and commercial team to ensure timely completion of quotations and responses to customers.
* Demonstration of continuous improvement.
* Achievement of set targets and KPI’s.

* 40 hours per week- Monday to Friday
* Salary £40k - £50k per annum
