The Managing Director is smart, very personable and genuinely passionate about helping people to develop their careers. The company has higher quality and a larger range of products than their competitors, and pride themselves on finding solutions for clients.
This isn’t a pure cold calling telesales role, the target customers know LBS and want to speak with you; your job is to provide fantastic customer service and be highly organised so that you go the extra mile for every customer.
Visit customers in person (once or twice per month), including occasional international trips, bring your ideas to increase sales, make your bonus and progress at the company. The progression will be good if you are prepared to work hard.
The Role
* Manage existing and new customers, keeping in close contact with each customer to fulfil their supply requirements
* Quickly build excellent rapport with each customer, to build trust and understand their business and thus their product needs
* Update the CRM system to clearly explain each business, so that you contact them at the right time each week/month
* Make a high volume of calls every day (60 - 70 calls) to maintain contact with regular customers and increase sales
* Work with the Sales lead and MD on client opportunities, including making offers to increase sales
* Attend existing and new clients in person when appropriate, including international trips
The Person
* Previous experience selling to customers is desired
* Experience using a CRM database is desired
* Excellent communicator, and strong relationship builder, able to build rapport and get people to ‘open up’ about their challenges
* Dynamic self-starter, proactive and makes things happen
* Business acumen, bringing ideas to improve performance
* You love to speak with clients, understand their needs, and deliver a high quality service
* Resilience to cover the client base and maintain momentum
* Excellent organisational skills
* Contract: Permanent
* Remuneration: £26,000 - £30,000 + bonus scheme
* Location: Hoddesdon
* Working: 5 days per week in the office, 8:45AM - 4:45PM
