An excellent job opportunity has arisen for two experienced Business Analysts to join a highly established and rapidly expanding financial services organisation based in South Wales. The organisation is in an ambitious period of change and transformation, so these roles offer great scope for career progression plus the opportunity to work on several interesting projects.
These positions offer hybrid working and can be based at either the central Cardiff or Newport offices.
Your new role
The Business Analyst will take responsibility for requirements definition and documentation, process mapping, stakeholder management and presenting end to end solutions to relevant stakeholders throughout the organisation. You will facilitate and run requirements workshops, identify continuous improvement techniques, and produce functional specifications and solution design. Working as part of the growing Change department, you will be responsible for facilitating the definition of solutions to ensure that complex business needs are met.
One of the Business Analyst roles will be working on Business Change projects, while the other will focus on Data projects.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
1. A proven track record of having worked as a Business Analyst
2. Experience working as a Business Analyst in a highly regulated industry (Financial Services/Utilities/Pharmaceuticals etc.)
3. Experience on Business Change projects or Data projects (previous experience as a Data Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst is advantageous)
4. Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills
5. Demonstrable experience of producing requirements documentation and developing process diagrams.
6. Knowledge of Software Visio, Microsoft Word, and Excel
7. Industry recognised qualification (e.g., BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis) is advantageous but not essential
8. Experience of working as a Business Analyst in the Financial Services sector would be a distinct advantage
