Job Title: SEMH Teacher

We are seeking a committed SEN/SEMH Teacher to support a Gloucester based SEMH School. This temporary position, starting immediately in November 2024, has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be responsible for full classroom responsibilities including planning, preparation, and marking.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualised education plans tailored to students' unique needs.
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons for students with SEN/SEMH needs.
Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
Provide targeted support and interventions to help students achieve their potential.
Collaborate with parents, guardians, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Provide guidance and support to teaching assistants and support staff.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Prior experience working with pupils with SEN/SEMH needs.
Strong understanding of SEN policies and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
