Electrical Compliance Surveyor Up to £40,665 per annum Burton upon Trent - Agile Permanent, Full Time We have an opportunity available for an Electrical Compliance Surveyor to join our Fire, Electrical & Asbestos compliance team to provide an essential service to meet the compliance legislation and guidance regarding electrical workstreams. The role As our Electrical Compliance Surveyor, you’ll assist with the preparation and delivery of planned and programmed installation and maintenance contracts in regard to Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR’s) and electrical rewires, ensuring that compliance, efficiency and high standards are maintained. You will also be required to: Undertake site supervision and monitoring of work in progress Liaise with contractors and tenants for the effective delivery of the works. Carry out Health and Safety inspections Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with quality and assurance activities. Deputise in the Compliance Managers absence to assist with electrical repairs and maintenance advice and organise works orders in relation to all other fire and asbestos related compliances. The successful candidate will have: The following certificates: 2391 Testing and Inspection - to latest regulations BS7671: 2018 SSSTS (or SMSTS) Experience of working in Electrical Safety, repairs and maintenance or compliance role in a social housing setting - or similar role in the public or private sector Be fully proficient in reading and assessing EICRs in both domestic properties and communal areas to blocks of flats or complexes. Health and Safety awareness A good understanding of appropriate legislation and relevant qualifications. A proven ability to review Electrical Certification (DEICR, DEIC) Familiar with using a PDA and/or a tablet/laptop.
