Our client is a local Manufacturing SME looking for a standout Financial Controller to join on a permanent basis. This role has been created through consistent business growth and will report directly into the Managing Director, and develop into a more senior position.
As Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations whilst providing accurate financial reporting and analysis to enable informed decision-making at the senior management level.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
* Leading all day-to-day accounting operations
* Full production of monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary
* Presentation of monthly board packs to SMT
* Leading annual budgeting and forecasting processes, reforecasting where necessary
* Leading cash flow and cash management processes including debt collection
* Oversee a small accounts team
* Support executive level decision making to meet company objectives
* Preparation of year end accounts with external support from auditors
* Responsibility for inventory and cost accounting
* Overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
* Completion of monthly and weekly payroll
* Completion of quarterly VAT returns
Person Specification:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA part-qualified or newly qualified
* Recent Manufacturing experience (Desirable)
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.

Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year
