Specsavers Wickford are looking for a motivated and passionate Optometrist to join our talented team as we look ahead to exciting expansion plans in the very near future.
WIth 3 test rooms and all of the latest technology, there is no better environment for someone looking to help drive a small practice forward to success.
The patient base is very diverse, and we participate in local EOS schemes so your days wont be boring. We also have a strong culture of developing our own professionals, so you'll also have the opportunity to help supervise our Pre-Reg OOs, DOs & CLOs if you wish.

Wickford is only a 50 minute direct journey via public transport to London Liverpool Street station, meaning that this is a perfect location for commuters.

All of our store colleagues are cert 2+ qualified and we have a great structure in-store which enables us to deliver an efficient, personalised service to each of our patients. Our directors have a wealth of knowledge and are looking to support with your progression and future development. Whether that's improving your clinical knowledge and skills by undertaking higher qualifications such as IP or helping you to become the director of your own Specsavers store one day.

We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role.Firstly, you'll need to be registered as a member of the General Optical Council (keeping this up to date). you'll also need to be confident and passionate about providing the best customer service and work well as part of a team.
