School Sports Coach
Location: Oldham
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our school in Oldham on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to inspire and engage students in physical education and sports activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality PE lessons and extracurricular sports activities.
Encourage participation in sports, promoting teamwork, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle.
Adapt sessions to accommodate students of varying abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
Support classroom teachers with physical activity-based learning when required.
Ensure a safe and inclusive sporting environment for all students.
Assist in organizing school sports events and competitions.
Requirements:
Experience in sports coaching, PE teaching, or working with children in an educational setting.
A Level 2 Coaching Qualification (or higher) in a relevant sport is desirable.
A passion for sports and physical education with the ability to motivate students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training will be provided).
A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
